La pièce est dominée par un superbe cristal isolé de wulfénite, remarquablement développé et parfaitement dégagé. Sa couleur jaune miel à orange doré est particulièrement intense et homogène, tandis que sa transparence met en valeur la richesse de ses nuances internes. Les faces cristallines, d'une grande netteté, présentent un éclat chaleureux qui capte admirablement la lumière. Le cristal repose sur une élégante association de baryte blanche, développée en faisceaux de cristaux tabulaires translucides.
 
Magnificent wulfenite crystal from the famous Xiao Ying Pan deposit, Inner Mongolia, China, a locality renowned worldwide for producing exceptionally aesthetic specimens.
The specimen is dominated by a superb isolated wulfenite crystal, remarkably well developed and beautifully exposed. Its rich honey-yellow to golden-orange color is both intense and uniform, while its transparency reveals attractive internal nuances. The sharply defined crystal faces display a warm luster that interacts beautifully with the light.
The crystal is perched on an elegant association of white barite, developed as translucent tabular crystal aggregates.
