Les cristaux de wulfénite montrent une morphologie particulièrement intéressante, avec des formes épaisses à pseudo-octaédriques, aux arêtes nettes et aux faces brillantes. Leur teinte chaude, allant du jaune citron soutenu au jaune ambré, contraste superbement avec les cristaux aciculaires blancs qui les entourent. La transparence partielle de certains cristaux permet également d'apprécier leur éclat interne et leur belle qualité de cristallisation.
 
This elegant wulfenite specimen from Maoniuping, Sichuan, China, displays a remarkable assemblage of honey-yellow to golden-yellow crystals beautifully highlighted by a matrix of colorless, translucent crystals.
The wulfenite crystals exhibit an especially attractive habit, forming thick pseudo-octahedral crystals with sharp edges and lustrous faces. Their warm coloration, ranging from vivid lemon-yellow to rich amber-yellow, contrasts wonderfully with the surrounding white acicular crystals. The partial transparency of some crystals further enhances their internal brilliance and excellent crystallization quality.
