vanadinite provenant du district minier de Taouz, région de l’Anti-Atlas, Maroc, présentant un cristal tabulaire épais, bien individualisé, aux contours nets et à la morphologie hexagonale typique de l’espèce. Le cristal montre une remarquable zonation de couleur, allant de l’orange miel translucide à des tons orangé-rouge plus soutenus sur les faces supérieures, avec un éclat résineux à subadamantin très attractif.
La surface du cristal est partiellement satinée à micro-granuleuse, contrastant élégamment avec des faces plus lisses et brillantes, ce qui accentue la lecture des volumes et la profondeur optique. La forte translucidité permet une belle diffusion interne de la lumière, mettant en valeur la richesse chromatique et la structure interne du cristal. La vanadinite est délicatement posée sur une matrice sombre, probablement riche en oxydes de fer et manganèse, offrant un contraste visuel saisissant.
 
Outstanding vanadinite micromount from the Taouz mining district, Anti-Atlas region, Morocco, featuring a well-individualized, thick tabular crystal with sharp outlines and the characteristic hexagonal morphology of the species. The crystal displays an attractive color zoning, ranging from translucent honey-orange to deeper orange-red tones on the upper faces, with a highly appealing resinous to subadamantine luster.
The crystal surfaces are partly satin-like to finely granular, contrasting elegantly with smoother, more lustrous faces, enhancing the perception of crystal volume and optical depth. Strong translucency allows for excellent internal light diffusion, highlighting both the rich coloration and internal structure. The vanadinite rests on a dark matrix, likely rich in iron and manganese oxides, creating a striking visual contrast.
