Très beau micromount de smithsonite provenant du gisement de Baugis, Gard (France), présentant un agrégat botryoïdal bien développé, aux teintes vert olive à vert gris, avec un aspect satiné à soyeux et de fines textures concentriques visibles en surface. La smithsonite est associée à une gangue claire, mettant particulièrement en valeur sa morphologie et sa couleur.
 
Attractive collector micromount of smithsonite from the Baugis locality, Gard, France, featuring a well-developed botryoidal aggregate, in olive-green to grey-green tones, with a soft satin to silky luster and fine concentric surface textures. The smithsonite contrasts nicely with the light-colored matrix, enhancing its morphology.
