Très joli spécimen de quartz de Sigoyer, présentant un cristal principal parfaitement individualisé, dépassant 1 cm, translucide à transparent et à éclat vitreux. Le cristal montre des faces bien développées et des terminaisons nettes, avec quelques inclusions et irrégularités internes qui renforcent son intérêt esthétique.
Il est solidement implanté sur une matrice abondamment constituée de petits cristaux de calcite, aux teintes blanc crème à beige, formant un support richement cristallisé. L'association quartz–calcite est caractéristique de cette occurrence de Sigoyer, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, France.
Une pièce particulièrement intéressante pour les amateurs de minéralogie française, avec un cristal de quartz de plus de 1 cm bien mis en évidence au-dessus de la calcite.
 
Very attractive quartz specimen from Sigoyer, featuring a well-individualized main crystal measuring over 1 cm, translucent to transparent with a distinct vitreous luster. The crystal displays well-developed faces and a sharp termination, with subtle internal inclusions and irregularities adding character to the specimen.
The quartz is firmly perched on a richly crystallized matrix covered with numerous small cream-white to beige calcite crystals, creating an attractive quartz–calcite association characteristic of the Sigoyer occurrence, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, France.
A fine specimen for collectors of French minerals, particularly appealing for its well-defined quartz crystal exceeding 1 cm and its abundant calcite matrix.
