Remarquable micromount de quartz en croissance de type sceptre et anti-sceptre, associé à de l’heulandite, provenant du secteur de l’East Fork Gila River, États-Unis. Les cristaux de quartz, parfaitement transparents à translucides, montrent des morphologies contrastées très lisibles, avec des épaississements terminaux typiques des sceptres et, inversement, des rétrécissements caractéristiques des anti-sceptres. Les terminaisons sont nettes, bien formées, et mettent en évidence une croissance polyphasée particulièrement esthétique.
Les cristaux se développent sur une matrice d’heulandite blanche à translucide, en agrégats tabulaires finement cristallisés, offrant un support lumineux qui accentue la pureté optique du quartz. L’ensemble présente un excellent équilibre entre finesse cristalline, complexité morphologique et contraste de textures.
 
Remarkable quartz micromount displaying both sceptre and anti-sceptre growth habits, associated with heulandite, from the East Fork Gila River area, USA. The quartz crystals are transparent to translucent and exhibit clearly defined contrasting morphologies, with terminal overgrowths typical of sceptres and, conversely, narrowed sections characteristic of anti-sceptres. The crystal terminations are sharp and well formed, highlighting a complex, multi-stage growth history.
The quartz crystals are perched on a white to translucent heulandite matrix composed of finely crystallized tabular aggregates, providing a bright and elegant base that enhances the optical purity of the quartz. The specimen shows an excellent balance between delicate crystallization, morphological complexity, and textural contrast.
