Exceptionnelle microcristallisation de perroudite provenant de la mine de Cap Garonne, dans le Var, localité-type de cette espèce rare. La perroudite y a été identifiée pour la première fois et constitue l’un des sulfures-halogénures emblématiques de ce gisement exceptionnel.
La photographie montre un remarquable ensemble de cristaux aciculaires rouge orangé, regroupés en petites gerbes et en arrangements rayonnants au sein d'une cavité.
 
Exceptional microcrystallization of perroudite from the Cap Garonne Mine, Var, France, the type locality of this rare mineral. Perroudite was first identified here and is one of the characteristic sulfide-halide minerals of this remarkable deposit.
The photograph reveals a remarkable group of orange-red acicular crystals, forming delicate sprays and radiating aggregates within a cavity.
