Très belle hématite d’Ightem présentant plusieurs cristaux maclés en étoiles, dont un groupe particulièrement bien développé au centre de la pièce. Les cristaux, de couleur gris acier à noir métallique, montrent des formes tabulaires à pseudo-hexagonales avec des contours anguleux et des faces nettement individualisées.
Le groupe principal correspond à une association de cristaux disposés radialement, formant une macle en étoile bien lisible. Les faces présentent un éclat métallique soutenu, avec des réflexions franches qui soulignent la géométrie des individus. Plusieurs autres cristaux similaires sont visibles sur la matrice, notamment dans la partie supérieure et à l'arrière-plan.
 
A fine hematite specimen from Ightem displaying several star-shaped crystal twins, including a particularly well-developed central aggregate. The crystals are steel-grey to black with a metallic lustre, showing tabular to pseudo-hexagonal forms with sharply defined angular outlines and well-developed faces.
The main group consists of an association of radially arranged crystals, producing a clearly defined star-shaped twin. The crystal faces display a strong metallic lustre, with sharp reflections emphasizing the geometry of the individual crystals. Several additional hematite crystals of similar morphology occur on the matrix, including prominent individuals in the upper part of the specimen.
