Micromount présentant un cristal d’elbaïte bien individualisé, partiellement transparent à translucide, montrant une zonation de couleur marquée allant du vert fumé au jaune miel. Le cristal adopte une habitus prismatique massif, avec des faces latérales nettes et une terminaison partiellement préservée.
La surface révèle une striation longitudinale typique des tourmalines, accompagnée de fractures internes naturelles qui renforcent la lecture de la zonation sous éclairage rasant. L’éclat est vitreux à légèrement résineux selon l’orientation.

Micromount featuring a well-defined elbaite crystal, translucent to partially transparent, displaying a distinct color zoning ranging from smoky green to honey-yellow tones. The crystal shows a robust prismatic habit, with clean lateral faces and a partially preserved termination.
The surface exhibits typical tourmaline longitudinal striations, along with natural internal fractures that enhance the visibility of the color zoning under angled light. Luster is vitreous to slightly resinous depending on orientation.
This specimen is representative of the San Piero in Campo pegmatites, a world-class locality renowned for complex and zoned tourmalines
