Les cristaux, parfaitement développés, présentent un habitus dodécaédrique à trapézoédrique très net, avec des arêtes vives et des faces lisses d'une remarquable qualité. Leur teinte vert très pâle à légèrement jaunâtre, associée à une excellente transparence, met en valeur la finesse de leur cristallisation.
 
These beautiful demantoid garnets come from the renowned Monte Rocchetta, Liguria, Italy, a classic locality famous for producing some of the finest crystals of this exceptional variety of andradite.
The crystals are exceptionally well developed, displaying sharp dodecahedral to trapezohedral habits with crisp edges and smooth, well-defined faces. Their very pale green to slightly yellowish-green color, combined with excellent transparency, beautifully highlights the quality of their crystallization.
