Superbe cornétite bleu intense à bleu outremer, en fine cristallisation dense couvrant la matrice. La couleur particulièrement saturée et l’éclat des microcristaux confèrent à cette pièce un aspect remarquable sous la loupe ou le microscope. La cornétite, Cu₃(PO₄)(OH)₃, est un phosphate secondaire de cuivre typique des zones d’oxydation des gisements cuprifères. La mine de Kalabi, dans le territoire de Kambove, Haut-Katanga, est notamment connue pour ses cristallisations de cornétite bleu profond, parfois associées à la malachite et à la chrysocolle
 
Superb intense blue to deep ultramarine cornetite, forming a dense crystalline coating over the matrix. The exceptionally saturated colour and sparkling microcrystals give the specimen a striking appearance under magnification. Cornetite, Cu₃(PO₄)(OH)₃, is a secondary copper phosphate characteristic of the oxidation zones of copper deposits. The Kalabi Mine, Kambove Territory, Haut-Katanga, is well known for deep-blue cornetite crystallizations, locally associated with malachite and chrysocolla.
