Spécimen remarquable d’hémimorphite provenant de la célèbre 79 Mine, dans le district cuprifère de l’Arizona. Le minéral se présente sous la forme de gerbes denses de cristaux aciculaires à prismatiques très allongés, nettement individualisés, rayonnant à partir de points de croissance communs.
Les cristaux, translucides à quasi transparents, montrent une teinte blanc bleuté à bleu très pâle, avec un éclat vitreux à soyeux particulièrement marqué sur les terminaisons. La morphologie est typique de l’hémimorphite, avec des terminaisons asymétriques bien visibles à l’échelle macro.
 
Outstanding hemimorphite specimen from the well-known 79 Mine, located in the copper district of Arizona. The mineral occurs as dense sprays of elongated acicular to prismatic crystals, well individualized and radiating from common growth centers.
The crystals are translucent to nearly transparent, displaying a pale bluish-white to very light blue coloration, with a strong vitreous to silky luster, especially noticeable on the crystal terminations. The morphology is typical of hemimorphite, with clearly visible asymmetric terminations at the macro scale.
