Micromount très fin présentant un cristal parfaitement individualisé d’anatase, niché dans une gangue claire riche en quartz, provenant de la localité alpine de Piéfroids Pass.
L’anatase se développe en cristal bipyramidal très net, aux faces planes bien définies, montrant des stries de croissance longitudinales finement marquées, particulièrement visibles sous éclairage rasant. La couleur est bleu foncé à bleu noir, avec des reflets métalliques froids et un éclat submétallique à adamantin, typique des anatases alpines de qualité.
Le cristal est bien dégagé et parfaitement lisible, offrant une géométrie remarquable à cette échelle. La gangue quartzique, blanche à translucide, forme un écrin naturel qui accentue fortement le contraste et met en valeur la morphologie et la couleur de l’anatase.
 
Fine micromount featuring a well-isolated anatase crystal, set in a light quartz-rich matrix, from the Alpine locality of Piéfroids Pass.
The anatase occurs as a sharp bipyramidal crystal, with flat, well-developed faces displaying fine longitudinal growth striations, clearly visible under angled lighting. The color ranges from deep blue to blue-black, with cool metallic reflections and a submetallic to adamantine luster, characteristic of high-quality Alpine anatase specimens.
The crystal is cleanly exposed and perfectly readable, offering excellent crystallographic definition at micromount scale. The white to translucent quartz matrix provides a natural setting that strongly enhances the contrast and highlights the crystal’s geometry and color.
