Spécimen d’ambre birman du Crétacé moyen provenant de la vallée de Hukawng (Kachin, Myanmar), daté d’environ 99 millions d’années, présentant une matrice jaune miel opaque à légèrement translucide. Cette pièce contient un petit hyménoptère très probablement apparenté aux fourmis primitives ou à une petite guêpe parasitoïde, conservé en position latérale. L’inclusion montre un corps allongé et segmenté avec une différenciation nette entre la tête, le thorax et l’abdomen, ainsi que de fines antennes et des appendices encore visibles malgré une fossilisation partielle. La silhouette générale reste bien identifiable et met en évidence les caractéristiques typiques des premiers hyménoptères du Crétacé. Quelques microfractures internes et légers voiles naturels liés à la résinification sont présents mais n’altèrent pas la lecture de l’inclusion. Un spécimen authentique et intéressant pour collectionneur d’ambres à insectes ou amateur de l’évolution ancienne des Hyménoptères.
 
A specimen of Mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber from the Hukawng Valley (Kachin State, Myanmar), dating to approximately 99 million years ago, displaying an opaque to slightly translucent honey-yellow matrix. This piece contains a small hymenopteran inclusion, most likely related to primitive ants or a small parasitoid wasp, preserved in lateral position. The inclusion exhibits an elongated segmented body with clear differentiation between head, thorax, and abdomen, together with fine antennae and partially visible appendages despite moderate fossilization. The overall silhouette remains clearly identifiable and highlights characteristic features of early Cretaceous hymenopterans. Minor internal fractures and natural resin veils are present but do not detract from the visibility of the inclusion. An authentic and appealing specimen for collectors of insect amber or enthusiasts interested in the early evolution of Hymenoptera.
